It’s fully ADA accessible and popular among walkers, joggers, cyclists, inline skaters—even bicycle commuters from the many corporate centers, professional buildings, and shopping malls located along the trail. Strollers, battery-powered wheelchairs, and dogs on leashes are welcome, along with cross-country skiers in the winter months when weather conditions permit (but no horseback riding, skateboards, or motorized scooters are allowed). Ultimately, the goal is for the Chester Valley Trail to be connected to a planned 750-mile trail network throughout the greater Philadelphia region. To date, more than 300 miles of the “Circuit” have been completed, with more trail miles being added to the network every year.
