Plus, residents can also easily travel to Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and New York from Chester County (and that’s not even including the various public transportation options).

One of ChesCo’s best school systems is the West Chester Area School District, which offers residents access to some of area’s best grade, middle, and high schools.
Chester County is also home to some of the best colleges and universities in the state, including West Chester University, Widener University - Exton Campus, and Immaculata University.
One of the distinguishing features of Chester County life is its wealth of open spaces. Whether you want to have a spring picnic, enjoy fall foliage, hike, bike, walk your dog, or play softball, Chester County offers its residents plenty of parks and trails to enjoy all year round.
